Kate is co-author of American Literature & Rhetoric.

Doranna Tindle is an Academic Director at Friendship Public Charter Schools in Washington DC, where she has also served as a principal, performance coach, and AP® English teacher in the Early College Program, a partnership between the University of the District of Columbia, the University of Maryland, and Friendship Collegiate Academy. She has served as an AP® Reader and College Board Advisor for SAT, AP Literature and Language, and Pre-AP®. She is also a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist who is passionate about working at the intersections of language, literature, and culture to inspire personal and collective transformation.
